Refund Policy

Refund rules for Seedance 2.5 subscriptions, credit packs, and failed generations.

Overview

This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for Seedance 2.5 plans, subscriptions, one-time credit packs, and video generation failures.

Because Seedance 2.5 uses third-party AI generation infrastructure and credit-based usage, refunds depend on purchase type, credit usage, and whether the generation service was actually consumed.

Subscription Refunds

Subscription refund requests may be reviewed when all of the following are true:

  • The request is submitted within 3 days of the original subscription purchase.
  • No subscription credits from that billing period have been used.
  • The account has not violated our Terms of Service or abuse controls.
  • The request includes enough account and payment information for us to locate the purchase.

If subscription credits have been used, the subscription payment is not eligible for a cash refund for that billing period.

Credit Packs

One-time credit packs and pay-as-you-go credit purchases are non-refundable once purchased. Please choose the pack size that matches your expected generation volume.

Unused credits may remain available according to the validity period shown at purchase or in your account.

Failed Generations

If a generation fails, times out, is rejected by the provider, or returns no usable output, Seedance 2.5 will return the pre-deducted credits to your account when the failure is confirmed by our system.

Failed generations do not automatically create cash refunds. Credit restoration is the standard remedy for generation failures.

Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • Used credits.
  • One-time credit packs.
  • Prompt mistakes, incorrect settings, wrong aspect ratio, or user-uploaded material issues.
  • Outputs that are technically completed but do not match subjective creative preference.
  • Account suspension caused by abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, or Terms of Service violations.
  • Delays caused by provider queue time unless the task ultimately fails or times out.

Processing Fees

Payment processors may keep non-refundable transaction fees. Where applicable, retained processing fees may be up to 6% of the transaction amount.

Review Timeline

Refund requests are usually reviewed within 3 to 5 business days after we receive enough information to identify the payment. Approved refunds may take additional time to appear depending on your payment provider, bank, or card issuer.

How To Request A Refund

Contact support with:

  • Your account email.
  • Payment date and plan or pack name.
  • Order, invoice, or payment reference if available.
  • A short explanation of the request.

We may ask for additional information before making a decision.

Changes

We may update this policy as pricing, payment providers, or generation infrastructure changes. The updated date above shows the latest revision.
