These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Seedance 2.5, including our website, account features, credit system, video generation tools, storage features, and related services. By using Seedance 2.5, you agree to these terms.
If you use the service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
Service
Seedance 2.5 provides an AI video generation workflow that can create videos from prompts, images, and creative reference materials. The service may include model selection, file upload, credit-based generation, result storage, download links, and account history.
Generated results may vary. We do not promise that any output will match a prompt perfectly, be unique, be uninterrupted, or be suitable for every commercial use case.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account activity and for keeping your login method secure. You must provide accurate information and may not share access in a way that bypasses account, billing, rate-limit, or security controls.
We may suspend or restrict accounts that create security risk, violate these terms, abuse credits, misuse payment flows, or attempt to interfere with the service.
User Content And Rights
You retain rights you already hold in prompts, uploads, references, and other materials you submit. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use those materials.
Subject to these terms and your payment obligations, you may use generated videos for personal or commercial projects. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publication, including rights clearance, brand safety, legal compliance, and platform policy compliance.
You grant us a limited license to process your prompts, uploads, and generated results only as needed to provide, secure, debug, and improve the service experience.
Prohibited Use
You may not use Seedance 2.5 to:
- Violate law, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, or platform rules.
- Create deceptive, harmful, abusive, exploitative, or illegal content.
- Upload materials you do not have permission to use.
- Impersonate people or organizations in a misleading or harmful way.
- Attempt to bypass security, credit, payment, rate-limit, or access controls.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service.
- Resell access in a way that misrepresents ownership or service guarantees.
Credits, Billing, And Refunds
Seedance 2.5 uses credits for video generation. Credit estimates are shown before generation, but final credit handling is determined by server-side calculation and provider results.
Paid plans, subscriptions, and credit packs are billed through third-party payment processors. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and accurate billing details.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. Failed, timed out, rejected, or missing-output generations generally return credits to your account rather than creating an automatic cash refund.
Generated Output
AI-generated content can contain artifacts, inaccuracies, unexpected motion, or elements that require human review. You must review generated videos before using them in ads, public campaigns, client work, regulated industries, or any sensitive context.
We may block, refuse, remove, or fail a generation when required by safety systems, provider policy, legal obligations, or operational limits.
Third-Party Services
The service may rely on third-party providers for authentication, payments, storage, analytics, infrastructure, and AI generation. Their services may have separate terms, availability limits, and processing rules.
Seedance 2.5 is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by ByteDance or Doubao unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Availability
We work to keep the service reliable, but access may be interrupted for maintenance, provider limits, upgrades, incidents, or events outside our control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when needed.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free output.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seedance 2.5 will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost business, or reputational harm.
